Where are the private lessons held?

Cragside, Whitley Lodge Whitley Bay NE26 3DU.
Monkseaton Metro is just a walk away or bus routes to Whitley Bay Links.

Can I wait while my son/daughter has lessons?

Yes we have a waiting area for parents or visitors.

How long are the lessons?

Lessons are normally in 30 minute sessions, but a full hour can be booked subject to availability.

What is the cost of the lessons ?

The fees are based on level and duration of tuition.

How often are the lessons?

Lessons are offered on a weekly basis throughout the year
(except for certain school holidays (notification will be given)

Do I need a piano?

You will need a piano or touch sensitive keyboard on which to practise. ( I can advise further)

If I book keyboard lessons, what type of keyboard do I need?

The Yamaha PRS range is very popular with my pupils.

Do you teach adults?

Yes, it is never too late to learn or refresh a latent skill. Many retired people have more time to practise and enjoy a new skill.

Do I have to take exams?

No, I have pupils who attend lessons to learn to play just for an enjoyable pastime.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes, I have an up to date D.B.S. and Educare Child Protection Certificate (level 2)
